How We Are Being Sent

In December 2023, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office decided not to renew our partnership and office location within the Summit County Jail.

Our collaborative partnership with the Summit County Jail and judicial system stretches back to 1995 under retired business manager, John Wiseman. Our office has been located in the Summit County Jail since that time.

As a result of this substantial and abrupt change, we were presented with new challenges and opportunities.

Our office components, supplies, and records were relocated. Starting in January, our operations were revised.

Though we were initially surprised and saddened about the decision, our team and Board of Directors immediately began exploring opportunities to expand current community partnerships and forge new relationships to reach recovering citizens.

Change Can Be Good

Recent changes have helped us wake up to untapped opportunities to deepen our partnerships with regional correctional centers.

As a result, we have expanded services to five correctional centers, including increasing the frequency and types of client services made available to participating locations.

We are now reaching more than 100 recovering citizens per week. This represents a 500% increase.

With your continued support, we will continue to bring Restorative Justice programs to Northeast Ohio.

How You Make a Difference
