Lydia's Home Volunteer Day

We can’t thank you enough!  On June 4, more than 40 volunteers joined us for the annual Lydia’s Home Volunteer Day. This was invaluable to us, as it was necessary to remove 17 trees in the fall related to septic system and maintenance issues. And, the land needed to be restored.

Together, we installed a truckload of mulch, 10 truckloads of topsoil, and 2 truckloads of gravel around our maintenance building and fire pit area.

Special thanks to Erick Gil and the High School team from Maranatha Bible Church, and to Jeremiah Dillon for donating his tractor and time for the day.

Special thanks also to Rick Young who donated his time and Bobcat skills to regrade the soil and redistribute the topsoil so it could be raked out and leveled. As a result, we were able to spread grass seed, fertilizer, and straw over more than 15,000 square feet of our property.

Thank you so much! You helped the Ministry save many thousands of dollars that can be reinvested in our programs.
